Idea & Further Inspiration

Following some idea development in my sketchbook, I've narrowed down a few pages-full of ideas, to a few, as a basis to my project.

I especially liked the idea of animating character based on a nursery rhyme. I furthered my idea by picking one, which I believed would incorporate as many animation principles as possible.

Thinking back to a previous lecture, where we were shown Bupa advertisements as inspiration, also helped me to pick a character-based piece for the basis of my work.



As you can see from the embedded Bupa advertisement, above, the style of art and animation used here, would be ideal to narrate a nursery rhyme with, due to its simplicity and ease of animation.
