Following preliminary research, both online and in my sketchbook, I have uncovered two, fantastic examples of the artistic style I'd like to portray in my piece.
The subjects below use a 'cut-out' style to depict their elements.

The above is an introduction, title-sequence for a TV show aired by the BBC. This example is built, wholly, around the cut-out elements.
