Colour Inspiration: Artists and Analysis

Following a lecture I had with a review of my chosen brand and idea, my lecturer gave me names of several artists who use relevant colour palettes in some of their pieces.

Their names and example pieces of work are as follows:

Gustave Courbet

Gustave Millet

Charles-François Daubigny

Narcisse Virgilio Díaz

Théodore Rousseau

Using a simple Photoshop technique, we can compare the colour palette of a chosen art piece with the Bulmers advertisement.

Gustave Millet: Palette

Bulmers Ad': Palette

From this comparison, we can prove the colour palettes of both artist and advertisement are similar, meaning it will be safe for me to use these pieces as inspiration for my final product.
